About Greg Dearth

Greg Dearth is an artist who has lived a Jekyll-and-Hyde-sort-of life
from the beginning. By day a sober and hardworking artist/illustrator, by
night an off-center bacchanalian fiddler/clarinetist. His work has appeared
in books and advertising for many fortune 500 companies. His illustrations
have also appeared in Communication Arts Illustration Annual and The Society
of Illustrators annual show. As a musician he has appeared on CD's and
vinyl in venues ranging from Bluegrass to Old Jazz to Beer Jingles. A former
member of the Hutchison Brothers and The Hotmud Family, he currently plays
in a traditional jazz group known as the Classic Jazz Stompers. He credits
the vitality it takes to live such an energetic life to eating and breathing
vast amounts of hair, lovingly provided by his two devoted Dalmations, Henry
and Petunia. He lives and works in Franklin, Ohio.
